Lise's Herb, Avocado & Olive Dip
- 2 small avocados
- 1 lemon (juiced)
- 2-3 Tbsp. plain yogourt
- ½ tsp. to 1 Tbsp. of the following herbs (or whatever you have in your garden) These herbs offer many health benefits including this very short list:
- * parsley (prevents multiplication of tumor cells; for breath, digestion)
- * thyme (antiseptic, good for lungs, reduces gas, fever, mucus)
- * rosemary (anticancer, antitumor; fights free radicals, inflammation, bacteria, fungi)
- * coriander (helps eliminate mercury from body; controls blood sugar, cholesterol)
- * dill (protects against free radicals & carcinogens; anti-bacterial)
- * oregano (powerful anti-bacterial; antioxidant)
- * basil (anti-bacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, heart-healthy)
- Vogel brand spicy seasoned sea salt to taste
- 1 can sliced black olives
Mash avocado, mix in lemon juice and yogourt. Rinse herbs then chop (I use scissors - it's quicker) and add to avocado. Add can of drained olives and salt if necessary. Blend and enjoy with organic tortilla chips or rice crackers. Great dip for raw vegetables too. Takes about 10 minutes. Healthy and green!
