This delicious hot drink is good for the spine and joints. It lubricates all joints and helps to break up calcium deposits. It is highly recommended for arthritis. This recipe has been passed down to us as part of the Kundalini yoga tradition.
Boil turmeric in water for about 8 minutes until it forms a thick paste. If too much water boils away, add a little more water. Meanwhile, bring milk to a boil with the almond oil. As soon as it boils, remove from heat. Combine the two mixtures and add honey to taste.
If you like, you can prepare a reserve supply of turmeric paste by boiling a larger quantity of turmeric and storing it in the refrigerator for up to 40 days.
As a change of pace, whip golden milk in the blender until frothy and serve with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Try drinking a cup of this for 40 days in a row and observe the differences in your joints. (Try not to skip a day. As with all health programs, consistency is the key to success in Kundalini.)
